The collaboration between the Chair for the History of Hermetic Philosophy and The Ritman Library has already yielded some fine results in the past few years, notably the Infinite Fire Webinar series featuring Amsterdam’s very own Hermetic triumvirate: Wouter Hanegraaff, Peter Forshaw and Marco Pasi. A short film has now been launched on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Chair for the History of Hermetic Philosophy with the participation of The Ritman Library’s director Esther Ritman. The film was partly shot in the premises of The Ritman Library in the Bloemstraat - before it moved to the Embassy of the Free Mind on Keizersgracht - where Wouter Hanegraaff talks about the significance of the Hermetic tradition as a field of research.
