Two doctors in the UK are suing the government over a lack of personal protective equipment (PPE). They said Britain's guidance on protective gear is not in line the World Health Organization's (WHO) standards, exposing frontline medics to infection. Additionally, healthcare workers were told that plastic aprons could be used in some cases, instead of protective gowns. However, Health Minister Matt Hancock has denied that doctors have been asked to compromise on safety. He added that the PPE guidelines are based on clinical advice.
