The period of 1958-62 is considered as the Years of maximum danger. It is because of the Cuban Missile Crisis and Vietnam War.
The Third World also played a major role in the Cold War.
The Final Phase of Cold War(1980-90) resulted in the demolition of Berlin Wall and disintegration of the Soviet Union.
