“GREENWITCH (pronounced 'gren-ich') hail from Los Angeles, CA and came onto the scene in 2019 with a 2-song EP titled Cerebral Cell. Displaying a sound vocally aligned with blackened death metal and an instrumental approach that also leaned closer to the hyper speeds of the subgenre, the quintet made a strong impression but nothing could have foreseen what GREENWITCH would offer next.
The last days of 2020 have just delivered CosmoSteelBlood Trinity; a death metal album through and through. Here GREENWITCH lay down six massive mid-tempo bangers that worship at the altars of the old school. With a more focused approach, CosmoSteelBlood Trinity has peeled off the blackened touches from the EP and have focused on potency, hooks and that old school sound.
