NSE Halted Trading Due To Unavailability Of Online Risk Management System

NSE Halted Trading Due To Unavailability Of Online Risk Management System The National Stock Exchange of India halted trading for all its segments for near 4 hours during yesterday’s session due to the unavailability of its online risk management system. In a press release, they highlighted that the instability of links from the telecom service providers impacted the online risk management system.

Given the unavailability of the risk management system, market functioning could not continue normally and hence had to be shut down. NSE only decided to resume trading activity once the issue was resolved. Here’s Jayesh Khilnani with the details of the NSE outage and press statements issued thereafter.
