In this video we show you our traditional heritage tree for Christmas. This is our main tree and this year I decided that the living room would be traditional red, gold and greens. In our garland video I explained that I like different size ornaments to give it interest. Our main Christmas tree is no exception. I start out showing you the 4 different patterns of ribbons that I used. I also use foil garland which is to some outdated. However because we put so much on our tree the foil just peaks out underneath for that play on light that sparkles next to the lights. I started out using large ornament balls that we have had for many years. These I use as "gap fillers" to close up the gaps that you see on your tree and you can't quite hide with ribbon. I then show you the main colors and ornament balls that I use to give it that really full look. We have over 750 ornaments on this tree and it takes me about 10 - 12 hours from start to finish. To finish off the tree since this tree isn't flocked I like to give it that flocked look and sprinkle the snow on it after I am all done.
