PAYCHECK TERMS:
Gross pay = the total amount earned in the pay period
Deductions = things that are taken out of your gross pay
403b = the non-profit employer investment savings vehicle. It's similar to a 401k that is offered by for-profit companies
Net pay = the money that is actually deposited into your bank accounts
