Desmond Doss Tribute. Hacksaw Ridge, A True Story.
Desmond Thomas Doss was a U.S Army corporal who served as a combat medic with an infantry company in World War II. In the Battle of Okinawa Doss proved himself by saving 75 men, becoming the only conscientious objector to receive the Medal of Honor for his actions during the Second World War. He proved his commanding officers, sergeant and fellow comrades wrong.
Staying true to his beliefs. Doss Was a brave, kind and unique individual. A hero
