Sir Iain Duncan Smith: ‘The idea that scientists are exact and accurate has been proved to be wrong’

Sir Iain Duncan Smith: ‘The idea that scientists are exact and accurate has been proved to be wrong’ Conservative MP Sir Iain Duncan Smith has accused the government’s scientific advisory group SAGE of not having the courage to present alternative views on coronavirus.

Speaking with talkRADIO’s Julia Hartley-Brewer about current restrictions, the former party leader said: “I begin to wonder whether they’re not guilty of groupthink…basically that they’re driving each other down to the lowest possible common denominator not wanting to be the one that turns around and say there’s a better way to do it.”
