We rescued this boy from the harsh streets of Mexico. This boy is very ill and has a severely broken back left leg and hip.
He was taken to Vet, He has started medications for his diseases and to help control the pain. Dr Lalo also gave injectables to help him with his fever and pain.
He doesn't have a name, we named him Dante.

His blood tests show Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis, severe anemia and infections.
His Platelet count is 29, it should be 200-250 and he only weighs 21kg, he should be 30-35kg.
They gave him a cooling bath to get off all the fleas and 1000’s of ticks and also too bring down his temperature.
We are so happy to see Dante eating, this is a very good sign.
Remember the sweet and super frail boy we rescued named Dante.
Dante has gained much needed weight, and has almost best his tick borne disease.
Take a look at Dante now. Dante is one of the cutest boys.

Currently, Dante is living in a happy home ... He is loved and cared for.
