Meet the Author: 

Marc Gruber is Vice President for Innovation at EPFL and full professor at the College of Management of Technology at EPFL where he holds the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Technology Commercialization. Marc also acted as Associate and as Deputy Editor at the Academy of Management Journal (AMJ), the highest ranked empirical research journal in management. He is the co-author (with Sharon Tal) of "Where to Play: 3 Steps for Discovering your Most Valuable Market Opportunities" (FT/Pearson), which presents the Market Opportunity Navigator - a business tool that has recently been adopted the Lean Toolset by Steve Blank.
