While UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson “did the right thing by leaving the EU” especially in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, he remains a perpetual target of the left says Sky news host Chris Kenny. Mr Kenny said those journalists and media commentators who said “that leaving the EU would be the end of Britain” have been “noticeably silent” lately as the UK has now seized control of its own borders.
“They've all fallen silent, I think even the most ardent 'remoaners' would be quietly grateful now that the UK is getting out of the EU, that it has seized control of its own borders,” Mr Kenny said.
“And when this virus threat is over, I think that is the end of that argument”.
