The #bounty face shield. A Bounty paper towel, surprisingly durable, transparency paper, and two pieces of string. With regular suppliers across the globe unable to keep up with the demand for protective equipment, we were contacted to help design a simple, cheap, disposable shield that the National Guard to distribute to people in disadvantaged communities. This offers some protection from droplets and should not be a substitute for proper PPE with taking care of patients with Covid-19.
This video will provide instructions for making masks that can be used by those in healthcare spaces who are not taking care of patients with Coronavirus, but still may want additional protection. This will allow the professional protective gear to be used exclusively for healthcare professionals who are at higher risk of exposure.
