Entry 85: Alex Garland is a fascinating filmmaker, and I was very curious to see what he would do with the time afforded him by a full limited series. And Devs really does successfully translate his style to the smaller screen; I don't mention it, but even the audiovisual experience of it just feels like an extension of Ex Machina and Annihilation (especially Annihilation, and especially the score). He has proven to have a very specific style, and it's definitely one I vibe with. Note: I would call this video spoiler-lite until about 15 minutes in, where I talk about the finale in a sort of vague depth.
