Coronavirus lockdown sees penguin and beluga whale become unlikely friends An aquarium in Chicago, which is currently closed to the public during the coronavirus outbreak, has let its penguins roam around the exhibits.

Wellington the Rockhopper penguin took a visit to the beluga whale enclosure on his latest field trip.

Beluga whales live in the northern hemisphere, where as penguins live in the south, so they are unlikely to ever meet in the wild.

But it seems that an unlikely bond has been formed between the animals.
